Biography - John West As President and CEO of Priority Management Systems Inc., John West is responsible for the company's global direction and growth. Priority Management is a worldwide management training organization with 100 offices in 15 countries. West joined Priority Management in 1995 as Vice President of Marketing, and two years later was promoted to the position of President and CEO. In 1999, West joined founder Daniel Stamp as a partner in Priority Management. Prior to joining the company, West worked for 14 years at Scott Paper. When he left in 1995, he was Director of Commercial Marketing. Before that, West worked at Nabob Foods in the consumer marketing department for three years. West has served as Director and President of the B.C. American Marketing Association, marketing chair of the United Way of the Lower Mainland and a member of the Advertising Standards Council. He was also recently a trustee of the Maritime Museum and worked on fundraising campaigns for Science World and "Take the Art Gallery to Court" in Vancouver, B.C. West earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of British Columbia and a Master of Science degree in advertising and marketing from Northwestern University. He is married and has three children.   |
