The WorkingSm@rt with Microsoft Outlook Transition Workshop is a practical transition session for people who have already completed WorkingSm@rt Classic Microsoft Outlook training with Priority Management and are moving to Outlook (new).

The goal isn't simply to show you where familiar Outlook features have moved. It's about helping you understand how the updated tools and workflows can support the way you already work.

You'll explore what's changed, how the new Outlook experience connects with Microsoft To Do and other productivity tools, and how to adapt your existing WorkingSm@rt habits to the new environment.

The workshop combines technology with proven productivity principles, helping you use the new tools to manage your time, workload, priorities and commitments more effectively.

Because the tools may have changed, but the need to work with purpose hasn't.

From Familiar Tools to a More Connected Workflow

Who is the WorkingSm@rt with Microsoft Outlook Transition workshop for?

This workshop is relevant to:

  • Managers who need to manage competing priorities and commitments

  • Technical and sales professionals managing high volumes of work

  • Supervisors responsible for coordinating people and priorities

  • Administrators managing information, schedules and tasks

  • Project leaders balancing multiple deadlines and stakeholders

  • Teams looking to maintain consistent WorkingSm@rt practices during the transition

  • Anyone who has completed the WorkingSm@rt Classic Outlook program and needs to adapt to Outlook (new)

The workshop provides a bridge between the productivity practices participants already know and the updated tools and workflows they now need to use.

Productivity Starts with How You Work

Technology can change quickly, but effective productivity depends on the habits and behaviours behind the tools.

The WorkingSm@rt Outlook Transition Workshop helps participants shift from:

  • Familiar → Adapted

    • Understand what has changed between Classic Outlook and Outlook (new), and adapt your existing WorkingSm@rt habits to the updated environment.

  • Disconnected → Connected

    • See how Outlook, Microsoft To Do and your calendar work together to create a more connected approach to managing your workload.

  • Managing Volume → Managing Priorities

    • Move beyond simply processing email and tasks. Use your tools to identify what matters most and keep your priorities visible.

  • Reacting → Planning

    • Develop consistent daily planning habits that help you stay focused on important work rather than simply responding to whatever arrives next.

  • More Features → Simpler Workflows

    • Use the updated tools to simplify your workflow rather than adding unnecessary complexity to the way you work.

By making these shifts, you'll be better equipped to work confidently in Outlook (new) while continuing to apply the WorkingSm@rt principles that support effective time and workload management.
